☆ spent time in nature/outside? ☆ listened to your body and took note of what it was telling you? ☆ had your mean mama voice in check? ☆ made a conscious effort to slow down and be mindful? ☆ nourished your body with good food? ☆ did something that you wanted to do? ☆ meditated or been aware of your breath? ☆ connected with your loved ones? ☆ showed compassion to yourself and others?

Imagine if we replaced our normal to-do-list with something more like this. A productive day for me is when I have crossed off most of the things on this list. THIS is what makes me a happy mama not having a spotless house, material things or always being on top of my work. Let's rethink our to-do-lists for at least a week and see the difference this can make.
If you only manage a couple of things on this list, that is still something to celebrate. Practicing kindness towards yourself is one of the most important things!
