I usually like to start my work day by doing a 40 minute meditation. What I really needed this morning though was an extra cup of coffee and 15 minutes in nature..and that is perfectly okay. We need to listen to our bodies mamas and banish the "shoulds". Lower your expectations about what it is that you "should" be doing or achieving in a day and just be. Savour the moments of your self-care practices and make this one of your top priorities. You deserve the opportunity to slow down and take care of yourself especially during this busy time of the year. Slowing down will actually make you more productive so there are no excuses!
